Posts: 3,667 Group: Marquess Member #1 Joined: 04/23/06 Gender: Female ♀	Since now I have a domain cloaking error on my fan site to this forum, and will be fixed whenever [It said a couple of hours, whoop-de-doo.]. I decided to check out my Admin options and I saw a new option to "Convert to ZetaBoards" for free and such. So I decided maybe it's time for an upgrade in the future... Here an idea of how ZetaBoards look like: http://support.zetaboards.com/index The thing that really make me like this was that the search buttons seems to work much better now. And I bet there are many little stuff I'm not noticing now, but it might be good for the forum. But if the ZetaBoards doesn't work out, should I move the forum to a new host? I am getting a bit annoyed with the search button and there may be little stuff that I don't know about. So if ZetaBoards doesn't work out, maybe I can try: http://www.vbulletin.com Here's an example forum: http://www.video-game-forums.com Let me know what you think. I only ask this because I just saw the option available to me.

Vbulletin is a good place also. Whatever you feel would be best I suppose. Either way, I'd still visit the forum. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. XD

So it'll be just like moving from one server to another. I don't know how long the down-time would be or how long it would take to convert.

The only problem is that if I do convert, there really isn't a way to convert back in case if we don't like the new changes. So what I can do is that I can do maybe a test forum and see if it works? Then delete it if I don't like it.

[That means free spamming! =D ] And I might also have to test out Mods and stuff. So yeah, who wants to test it out with me and see if they would like it or not from a personal standpoint. I think I'll allow just three people aside myself for the meantime. CURRENT TESTERS: - 1.) enigmaopoeia. - 2.) Lime. - 3.) bugashi. - 4.) RetroScissorman. EDIT: So far I am really liking all of the stuff that they are offering me, such as I can upload my own avatars without having to work so hard on stupid coding. So that really helps me out. There's also more smilies to choose from. [They're all blue though, augh.] And so far I am really liking this new ZetaBoards.

They seem to pretty much like it. Just for others to know, here is what does get converted over: http://support.zetaboards.com/topic/42858/1/#new So it's pretty much everything. It's like InvisionFree, but with more better options and I am pretty excited about it. So I want you guys to please vote on the poll on the top post because I want the members, you guys, to feel positive about this convert as much as I am. Just to reinstate stuff, the layout will be converted over and I will make any graphical changes so the forum would pretty much look like this to some extent. ^^;;
