[FAN CLUB RULES AND GUIDELINES] Here are the rules and guidelines for whenever you create a fan club, clan, or clique! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [CREATING A FAN CLUB!] - The most important thing to creating a fan club is to know what to base it off of such as you can base it off of your favorite character, pairing, scene, and etc. I will allow any fan club to be created, even anti-clubs such as one promoting how one character is your least favorite. Please try to keep your fan club devoted to a specific topic such as it's okay to make a fan club devoted to Nolan x Jennifer, but you cannot make a fan club devoted to Nolan x Jennifer and Corey x Alyssa. Therefore Corey x Alyssa would have to have its own fan club. Please try to keep the fan clubs relative to the Clock Tower series. [A FAN CLUB NEEDS RULES!] - There should be a set of rules for your fan club to follow such as one obvious rule for a Jennifer Simpson Fan Club is that they must like Jennifer. Rules can have limitations such as a member must have 10 posts in order to join, or they must complete a certain task in order to join such as an All Endings Fan Club must allow it members to take a screenshot showing that they have obtained every Ending in the game. Then other rules should be what kind of topics are allowed in your club, what's the nature and purpose for your club, if the club will allow opinions from non-members, and what topics are encouraged and forbidden. Even though your fan club have their own specific set of rules, the normal forum rules and guidelines still apply. But spam is more tolerable in a fan club than it is outside of the forum or the "Presidential Room" section. [A FAN CLUB NEEDS LEADERS AND MEMBERS!] - Of course a fan club cannot live without the people running it and the members joining it! Once the fan club is created, the obvious choice for Leader of the fan club would be yourself and you can also assign Co-Leaders if you want. Then create a member list and keep it updated whenever new members join your fan clubs. [SHOW OFF YOUR PRIDE!] - Keep your fan clubs alive and active. Run contests or games relative to the basis of your fan club. Ask members to show any fan art or fan fictions they find, find topics for the members of your fan club to talk about, or etc. Also it would be great for your members to show off their pride to your fan club by creating buttons and banners for them to include in their signature. If you cannot create one, ask for your members to make some for your fan club, I bet they will be more than happy to! [DON'T FORCE PEOPLE TO JOIN YOUR FAN CLUB!] - Do not PM, spam my members in various posts, or flood my "Oslo Weekly" section for members to join your fan club. Please advertise your fan club in your signature where it belongs. Anyone caught violating this rule will get their fan club closed down. [DON'T CREATE IDENTICAL FAN CLUBS!] - If there is already a fan club to Helen, do not create a fan club devoted to Helen's clothes. It's redundant, questionable, and it should belong in the Helen Fan Club. This also applies to creating similar fan clubs such as two fan clubs devoted to Scissor Woman. I will close down or merge fan clubs if I see that one is already created. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now go out there and create some fan clubs for us to join! I cannot wait to see them! |
