Ive only played Ghost head and never understood half of the game (since I dont know japanese), and now Im translating a walkthrough for the Struggle within so finally Im getting the idea of many things ^^
I have a couple of questions:
1) So , Ghost head is not related to previous games at any point?

2) Here Im a little bit lost.Since Ive read a few sources which stated different things :
a) Maxwell is the one who made the toxin, then there was a leak of the toxin and he got infected?
b ) Maxwell is the one who made the toxin, but he got infected with it via the statuette, sent by Allen
c) Allen made the toxin to take revenge and infected Maxwell via the statuette

3)Was there actually a "maxwell curse"?

I know, I just should download a rom and play an english game xD but I dont really have time for it these days:)

I'll try to answer them as best as I can. And you hardcore Ghosthead fans out there correct me if wrong or slightly off. :P

Not sure if these would be considered spoilers, so I'll mark them as such. Just highlight.

1. Ghosthead is not related to any of the previous games. The only relation to the other games is a reference which is the Clock Tower 2 poster in Ashley's room.

2. Maxwell had created the Cerebral Toxin. Due to anger and jealousy, Allen implanted a different kind of toxin in the statue and gave it to Maxwell as a gift. After receiving the statue, Maxwell became infected and turned into an psychopathic killer and is virtually dead.

3. Yes, and no. No meaning that the cause of these events are due to the toxin; and yes meaning that the Maxwell Curse is considered Alyssa's alter ego Bates. Heres a brief history on the 'curse'. "Twin girls are rarely born into the Maxwell Family who, believing then to be cursed, have been burying them alive for the past
hundred years. It is unknown if the alter ego is the other twin's
spirit or if it is some ghost seeking revenge on the Maxwells."
