Why does this keep happening?; Innacurate post dates & times

Often I browse through the forum and find that certain topics have been flagged as containing unread posts, including specific times and dates for the new posts. Like here for example, from today... Posted Image Yet when I check the topic, it doesn't actually contain any new messages at all. More often than not they are quite old. Posted Image Like I said, it doesn't really annoy me but I am just curious why it happens. Is anyone else seeing the same kind of things? It happened back at the old forums as well.
