Some stuff that has been added to this forum now, some of them are noticeable while others are not. I hope you enjoy the changes I have made so far! New things now with this forum: - New welcome message on both the login screen and above the bar where your username is at! - Now we got a favicon, so you should see the clock from Clock Tower 3! - Added member legend square icons instead of the rank names below the members. - Added a money code, though it is only used for aesthetic purposes! - Added Clock Tower (~The First Fear~) Smilies, have fun using them! - We now have the previous topic icons from the old Board! - Got rid of "Joined Date" on the mini-profile. Seems worthless for us to know. - Links now flash when you mouse click over them. A nice effect! - The mouse cursor for DCJ is now applied here, except it doesn't animate. D= - Badges are now included in this forum under the name "Award:". - Leaders are now known as Regional Moderators. The Regional Mods are marked in blue. - Donators and Tabloid Reporter group has been removed and they now have a badge in place. They are now reverted to their post count title. - Colors have been changed for groups. Alter Egos are teal, Orphanage Caretaker is fuchsia, and Validating members are orange. - Quick Reply now has a Smilies button. - Editing a post now has the "Show that you edited this post" unchecked!! <3 - To the Mods, you should now see that you can finally Mass Move Topics in the "AutoTools" bar!! - Instead of saying "Welcome, ___ [Sign Out]", it now says "Let's play a game, ___ [Sign Out]". - Welcome box text [That shows when you're signed off] now has a different text that is more personal to the "Don't Cry Jennifer" Forums. - To the Mods, now whenever you edit a member's post. Now you can explain the reason as to why!! - Added a new rank, Mummy, which is acquired after making 1 post. This is to prevent members from abusing the Spirit rank [0 posts] by spamming members since they cannot use the PM feature until they make their first post. - Gender field now added to your profiles! - "The Hamilton Lodge" [Roleplaying] has been moved to the "Concealed Library" [Archives] due to over a year of inactivity. - "Choose Your Own Adventure" has been moved to the "Concealed Library" [Archives] as according to the votes in the poll. - Roleplayers now have an icon next to their username. Also the following members had ranked up, but I dunno why my forum didn't automatically promote them: - WARMASTER and jennifer_darknight are now a Zombie. - SinJul is now a Granite Orphan. - makoto140 and kyrtuck are now a Newspaper Reporter. - TheNoun and Goldie are now a Detective. Future changes needed to be added later: - Adding avatars from the Clock Tower series. Thanks Suzakuheat for your concern! - Adding Clock Tower 2 avatars. The ones completed are Beth and Gotts so far. This list would be edited as I'm going through all of the changes I have made. ^^;; |

Nice for you to noticed them, Goldie! Glad to see that the little changes get noticed! =D I have also got rid of the Money Code for now until it gets fixed! I have also added Awards to people, but they are more or less like Badges. So far, the most noticeable ones are the Donators. ^^;; So they will be applied to that if you won first place in any of the Forum Members Awards contests, you will get yourself a Badge! <3 |

I have added some more changes which are noted in the topic post. ^^;; Most importantly are that phobos and ehraclyde are now Regional Moderators. They were always Regional Mods, phobos for "Collection Room" and ehraclyde for "Phenomena", but now they are duly noted as so in the forum. They were always known as Leaders, but with no special pip. Also Donators now have a badge in their mini-profile to showcase that they have donated to DCJ. Therefore the Donators group has been removed and they are now reverted to their post count title. The same apply for the Tabloid Reporter who also has a badge. |

Yeah, that could get annoying because I was confused myself previously when I edited my post. =/ I may have to figure out how to fix the code to make it start off that it won't give you a reason to edit. And you have to change it if you prefer. |

I forgot to mention, but I have now added a "Gender:" question to your profiles in which you can select which gender you are. ^^;; And also after viewing the members list. I have decided to make myself a new rank to this forum called Mummy. Mummy is the second ranking in the DCJ forums, they come right after Spirit and you acquire it by making 1 post. Because as I was sorting out the Spirits [Only made 0 posts] from the Mummies [Made 1 post]. It shows me that 69 people joined the forum and never made a post since, while 97 members did joined the forum and at least have one post in. This tells me whose lurking and whose not. =P This would also be a future preventive from spammers who would join the forum to only spam your Inbox because Spirits now have the PM feature blocked to them and they also cannot edit their posts, profile, or signature; upload an avatar; or change their avatar or photo until they make their first post. This probably won't affect the lot of you, but just a heads up to people who suddenly noticed that their new rank is now a Mummy. ^^;; |

I have now moved "The Hamilton Lodge" [Roleplaying] and the "Choose Your Own Adventure" sections to the "Concealed Library" [Archives] due to inactivity and also the majority of the polls suggest that it will be moved to the archives for now. Maybe in the later future they will be revived, but for now, we'll let them be. As for Lime's "Clock Tower: WTF!?" topic, it's now moved to the Courtyard Jail Cell just in case if people would still love to help out. |

Tis a sad day for the RP section, but I guess it's been coming for awhile now. Sorry if I've been irritating when it comes to it (As I have been informed I have been) But I guess RP just doesn't seem the fly here, since it's fate is pretty much sealed now, I'll stop bitching about it. |

Short update. Now now Admin, Global & Regional Mods, and Roleplayers have an icon next to their username. It makes things a lot easier to read on the Members List and on the forum. ^^;; |

I just noticed that our Member Badges are now gone! o.o;; I was wondering if it's an error in the coding or that I included in another code which conflicts with that! Either way, I'm gonna fix it right now! EDIT: This is gonna give me a big headache. Basically what I have to do is delete and reimplement codes to see which ones conflict with others. So I'll work on this much later, I apologize in advance for anyone who miss seeing their awards in their profiles! I'll either try to work with the code I have or use another code! |
