In this de-bate (haha, pun) we look at Sharon and Bates' um...toughness thingy. :bobby: I mean, if you think about it, Sharon killed Bates in one of his endings and Throughout the game, the only thing Bates has ever done to her is push her away. Alyssa and Bates are running around here and there protecting themselves from predators, while sharon gets time to sit on an office chair and freaking relax. Some can argue that although Sharon may be more likely to cause a massacre, Bates is much more mentally stable (since Sharon DOES kill herself in the end) and therefore 'tougher' btw, I don't know how to start polls :rolla: Some (perhaps a lot) may argue that Sharon and Bates are equal *BRICKED* (she did take his lines) What are your thoughts? |

I think you meant Shannon, not Sharon. ^^;; And I included in a poll with basic choices. Personally, I think that Bates is the more stronger one. Mostly because he doesn't mind who he kills or whomever he pisses off, be it his host Alyssa or his enemy Allen or your random killer like Ghost Head or even a stranger like Shannon. Heck, we are even introduced to Bates killing Alyssa's classmates by stabbing them to death in the opening of the game!! The only thing able to hold him down is an amulet. While Shannon is definitely up there, but she let herself suffer from letting her emotions get the best of her. She could've killed Alyssa in Scenario-2, but she didn't -- she wanted to build up the suspense, let Alyssa know more about her past before Shannon could bring closure to her's. If she was stronger than Bates, she would've killed both Alyssa and Allen when she had that chance. But I believe Shannon went soft; she took the easy way out by committing suicide. |
