Posts: 17 Group: Zombie Member #299 Joined: 08/23/08 Gender: Female ♀	In the room with the fountain where I saw Barton hanging from a tree. A tree says something about a drain valve, but if I click on it again, I get the same message. I can't click anywhere else. I've played this before a long time ago, but forgot what to do

Posts: 243 Group: Granite Orphan Member #297 Joined: 08/12/08 Gender: Male ♂	You have to find a certain item before you can do that, letting you know you should drain the fountain in the first place. If you want to know what that item is, click on the first spoiler below. If you want to know how to get that item, click the second. Spoiler: click to toggle It's the map of the Barrows Mansion. Spoiler: click to toggle To get it, you'll need to examine the Fireplace in the Study, after finding two clues, the first in the library, the second in the first floor living room. There's one more thing required for successfully getting it, but I'll leave that to you to have the fun of discovering unless you specifically want to know. Hope this helps! I'd have said more on the second tip about how to go about it all, but I don't know how much you'd rather re-figure out on your own; if you need anything else, just ask and I (and I'm sure anyone else on the boards) will be more than happy to help![redit][/redit] Edited by MrMasonW2DS, Aug 24 2008, 01:42:41 PM.

These are the items in my inventory...door spell, dagger, genealogy, candle, star plate, stair key, statue and oil can. I'll mark the rest spoilers just in case they shouldnt be made public to all. Spoiler: click to toggle I've found the note behind Quentin Barrow's picture. I've had Helen translate the latin note. I've went to all the fireplaces I could possibly find. One, which I think was the study, but I'm not sure. It's on the second floor and I keep getting pulled up the fireplace by Scissorman. It's got a desk and a bookcase with books on the occult. Is that the one I need? Another one upstairs where I find Tim headfirst in the fireplace burning. It has two pink sofas and a coffee table there as well. It keeps telling me that there is a passage to the chapel (where we entered the castle) and another in the room where I found Quentin's picture. Just says It's a big fireplace. I've played this game before and had a fairly easy time with it. Now, I can't find the friggin map.

In order to look up it without being killed you must get matches from Tim. Since you found him dead you'll find the matches on the floor, if I remember correctly. You have to put the candle on the candlestick and then use the matches on it in order to use it to look up the fireplace. Edited by Lime, Aug 25 2008, 05:24:56 PM.

Spoiler: click to toggle Then I cheated a bit (I saved right before the end) and played from there and got the A ending, and now I wish I hadn't. Jennifer kissed Nolan? How old is Nolan?
