I'm not very sure what to say...maybe some of you heard? On G4's 'Attack of the Show' they do a constant headline feed about all kinds of things, electronics, games, movies...everything. As I was watching the show and having a good laugh...suddenly on the bottom I see the words, "Clock Tower." So of course I go nuts and rewind my tivo. The feed read, "The Weinstein Company has announced there plans to make a feature adaption of Capcom's classic series 'Clock Tower', the film will offer gameplay elements from the series and the story will be based on 'Clock Tower 2: The Struggle Within'. I am not a fan of Clock Tower: Ghost head. I am very...very upset. |

Interesting. While I am disappointed to hear that our beloved scissor wielding psychopath isn't going to be in it, I am however intrigued with the idea of a CTII:TSW adaptation. But I think I'll just wait see if there is any more news on this. |

How come everyone says that Capcom made the series? Yes, they do own the RIGHTS for it, but CT3 wasn´t that good in my opinion. Yay Capcom.. I wonder if they will have Roger Jackson back as Bates? |

Aw hell no, not Struggle Within...thats the lamest game in the series @Retro: I highly doubt that Scissorman won't appear. He's the main Villain of the series. And hey, The Silent Hill movie was based on the fist game but Pyramid Head was still in it cuz he was so popular, it'll probably be the same with this movie. Although as I say this, I imagine that the worst they could possibly do is have Bates as Scissorman... |

... WHAAAAAAT?! I haven't found anything about this on G4's website, and there's nothing on The Weinstein Company's website about it yet... But dude, why would they pick TSW? It's one of the more obscure games out of this already obscure series. At least with 3 slightly more than a dozen people other than us would know about it. (This is coming from someone who actually likes TSW/GH, by the way.) Also, I'm getting sick of people thinking Capcom did all of the games. |

As for people thinking that Capcom made the series...oh well, let them think that. Currently they do own the rights, so whatever. It is there series at the moment. It's not like the Headline was going to say, "There is going to be a film adaption of Human Entertainment/agetec/capcom series clock tower..." Lol. Plus were probably the only dorks in here who know who Human Entertainment is

Is it possible that Capcom now owns the rights to Clock Tower? I dont know. Either way, not sure how this is going to play out. IMDB still doesnt have any info on this. |

Mmmmm, most odd this is. I thought they were basing it off CT3. And again, they make it sound like Happy Cappy invented the series. I dunno, maybe they got lazy with they're research and got things mixed up? I dunno. Oh, and did I mention I duuno? I DUNNO! |

Yeah, I watch the feed all the time - didn't see that one, though. Man, now I hope for a CT3 adaptation - not TSW! D: WHY CAN'T YOU FREAKIN' PICK CT:USA OR TFF FOR GOODNESS SAKE?! This project is having an identity crisis more than poor ol' Alyssa Hale. The plot is continuously changing, so are the producers, the writers, and the directors. Personally, I'll take this as a good sign as it means the film is stuck in production hell and will most likely never see the light of day for now. For me, that is good news. Means I'll have a shot to actually do it justice some day soon. :D |

Maybe it will wind up being a complete blasphemy to the source material, just like the Super Mario Bros movie. I seriously heard that the production was a complete nightmare on that movie. |
