You know the drill, you're playing any of the Clock Tower games, thinking that Scissy/the other Subordinates will have left you alone temporarily... When all of a sudden, they jump out at you, or, if you're playing CT3... "ALYSSSSAAAAA!" [starts playing Impending Destruction] I have had an experience avec Sledgey et Coco. And Scissy from the first game. x3 When I get scared on Clock Tower, my legs tend to shake (restless-legs syndrome here!) and I go: "JAY-SUS CHRIST", or "HOLY SHIT" and get all pale. xDDD And yet I complain when Alyssa goes into Panic Mode (and of course, flails around like a drunk on a tight-rope.) :D OK, first we'll go for CT1 Scissy. :3 I was playing it for the first time, I never expected Scissy to jump down through the roof of the barn when you climb up the platform and knock down the ladder. T.T I screamed and then Jennifer screamed (because she died, of course). Um, now let's go for CT3. =D First of all, Sledgey. As I talked about in the Glitches thread, um, he did once just randomly appear on me. O.o And I didn't like when you get out of the Tailor Shop after using the first Evasion Point, and Sledgey runs out of the doors after you. And secondly, Coco. >.< He always catches me out when you're about to go up to Albert's room. D: And you can't see around the corner... and he sprays acid at you, which makes your Panic Meter go through the roof! What also sucks about the 2nd level is that there's only 1 hiding place. >_< So, have you ever been like: "OMG AHHHH" when you've played a CT game 'cos a killer's appeared out of nowhere when you thought you were safe? xD |

[Corroder] always catches me out when you're about to go up to Albert's room. GOD, THAT PART ALWAYS GETS TO ME! Even when I'm prepared for it, and when he jumps out and go, "BOOGITY BOOGA!" I freak out!! So I usually take a Lavender when I'm heading to that area. >3< There were times that Scissorman scared me in the first Clock Tower game. But then I figured out it was the music that actually creeped me out, not the killer! So I had to play the first Clock Tower game with the sound off which was kinda funny because you never knew when Bobby was about to show up until you just see someone chasing after you in the hallway. ^^;; I have since got over that fear and now I can play Clock Tower with the music up. I was such a wimp back then. |

Same as you OtterVinn with Corroder, when you are heading up to Albert's room XD damn it! everytime >-< as well as Sledgehammer in the theatre when he jumped off the stairs. At Mr. Chopper's level where the elevator "you know when he suddenly appear" and much worse in Hard mode of course. But if am going to tell you about my very first experience like.. 10 years maybe ago?? "yea am that old XP" wasn't even playing but watching me aunt playing Clock Tower 2. When Scissorman suddenly appeared to Helen from the locker that moment made us scream DX man I wish I had the game would have complete it. Clock Tower First Fear: Still can't believe I got this game thanks to a dear friend. Dear lord the moment where Jennifer discover her father's body and reading the story about it still giving me chills. As well as the barn where naughty Bobby show up from the ceiling D8 WTF , ending G and H freaked me first time. Thanks for sharing XD ! |

I like to bypass the Corroder-attack on the way to Albert's room by taking the secret passage through the fireplace. He still comes knockin' eventually, but there's no instant panic, and there's a retaliation point in the dining room if you take the secret passage back down, too. Corroder jumping out of the water underground always freaks me out, and I always dread having to race Scissorman to the door of the Burroughs Castle in CT3. Also, the chases in the TFF endings, where I'm stumbling around caverns and corridors with either Dan or Mary chewing on my ankles the whole way there, always make my heart race like crazy. EDIT: Oops! The retaliation point I speak of is in the dining room. Fixed. Edited by JBurroughs, Nov 9 2008, 11:29:29 AM.

Clock Tower First Fear: Anytime Bobby comes out, I get freaked. x__x I'm so unfamiliar with this game, I still haven't beaten it, and every time he comes out it's as if I have only a 40% chance of surviving. XD That and I'm playing it on the WonderSwan and the black and white's kinda disorienting . . Clock Tower 2: Like LonelyMori's event, Scissorman jumped out of the locker at me and god it scared me so much. XD;; I kinda laughed at myself afterwards though, considering it wasn't even my first time playing it. In fact this happened the last time I played recently. XDXD This and the first time I caught him watching cartoons in Rick's house. I swear I just stood there staring in fright like a deer in headlights. XD; It was just so demented. I didn't want to click on him. x__x I've had a lot of scary moments with Scissorman, he freaks me out. XD; (but I love him <3) Clock Tower GH: The first time I played I was so scared of Chinatsu. x__x Now I just make fun of her dolphin laugh. XD And the first time I saw Maxwell I screamed. XD; Now I make fun of him too . . (I love GH but I guess I don't take it seriously anymore XD) Clock Tower 3: When you're about to head up to the place where you get the pliers, Sledgehammer bursts out of the door and pushes Alyssa down. x__X God the first time that happened to me I screamed bloody hell. XD; And I still jump at the times when Ralph or Jemima hop out at you in the bathroom sink area (although this usually results in the absent skirt glitch XD) (also to avoid Corroder's acid spray at that one point, I usually crawl past that area, the acid goes right over Alyssa's head. XD; I took the advice from the CT3 strategy guide) |

Hmmm, let's see~ Clock Tower (The First Fear): Seconding Bobby and the garage ceiling. Also, I get nervous while in the elevator because of the two bad endings you can get in it. Clock Tower (2): When Scissorman pushes down the table in the storage in the first scenario, when he jumps through the glass door in the bathroom in Rick's house, and when he jumps from behind the painting and from the ceiling in the third scenario. Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within/Ghost Head: I haven't played this one in a while, but the part where you examine the zombie nurse and she suddenly grabs your hand made me jump, even though you just know something bad's going to happen. XD That, and the scrapping of Ghost Head's machete... Clock Tower 3: The part where you go through a door in the concert hall and Sledgehammer smashes his hammer down always gets me, as does the part where Corroder sprays his acid from behind a corner. (I don't remember the part where he gets you when you try to go to Albert's room...) "BOOGITY BOOGA!" Oh wow. XD |

So, it was my first time playing The First Fear...FIRST of all, I hadn't read anything about the controls, and was unaware of the Panic Button's existence. So, there I am, face to ugly face with Bobby...and I try to use my rock on him. That's right. I tried to trip him with a rock. And then he killed me. FAIL. *bricked* Later on, Bobby's chasing me through the house, and I go into the room where you find the insecticide and the black robe. So I think, hey, I'm safe for a while, it'll probably take him a while to get here...when all of a sudden the door flies open and Y HALO THAR BOBBEH. It made me jump. *shiver* Okay then, fast forward about a week...I'm getting pretty good at The First Fear. I know how to escape Bobby, and I'm a whiz at slamming that Panic Button. I'd watched a video on Youtube where the guy playing found the scepter in the music room, behind the curtain. So, naturally, next time I played, I headed straight for that curtain. I knew not to play the piano, that'd be stupid! Everyone knows that if you play the piano, Bobby drops down from the ceiling on you! I'm not an idiot! Actually...I am. You see, I didn't realize that the actions I'd done so far required me to get the Demon Idol, NOT the scepter. So, as soon as I pulled back that curtain...Y HALO THAR BOBBEH. Let's just say I didn't want to play TFF for a while afterward. You rolled a: 8! |
