When I was playing CT3 all alone, I opened to bathroom to that dead spirit.
Who is it?
I know its a spirit of a man for certain.
Heres what I thought:
Maybe it was Alyssa's father, Phillip Hamilton, i looked on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clock_Tower_3 And they aren't sure if it is or not. Maybe the Lavender was to calm him down for alyssa coming home or for being dead?
What do you think?

hey that is pretty interesting thought, its really unknown, we could hear what other members could think about this f[>.< it took me a while till to figure out what the spirit needs to be free. Until I figured out the lavender and am not sure why :s hmmm... since this situation is mention on Philip Hamilton part, it probably could be him as you said sis. However there could be another thought >.< maybe someone who knew about her grandpa dark secret and got killed =s but yea I go for your thought more Lea makes sense.

V interesting thought, I must say... yeah, it might be his corpse, did it have a slit in the back of his head, because Philip died by an axe. Anywhoo, lavender? Wow. Maybe he was the creator of lavender oil, but that's my own weird opinion.

I never knew that you had to give lavender water to the spirit to release it until I read about that somewhere. XD; Not sure why you don't give it a sentimental item like all of the other ones... Or how a rotting, dead body in a bathroom was left unnoticed for so long. You'd think you'd smell the thing!

I once translated the Japanese Wikipedia article for Clock Tower 3 using Google's translator, and it said that the ghost was Phillip. Didn't say what the source of that info was, so it could just be someone's guess. Hmm, I wonder if any of the strategy guides or some other official source say it's him.

Haha, that reminds me when I saw that bit! I remember because he was in the bath and he was like... Pretty decomposed, I remember thinking he was a victim of Corroder. I was like... O.O

And damn! I wish I knew you had to give him the lavendar water! I had to leave his ghost there the whole game... I feel so dumb now... :dry:

ALYSSA! I've become a Subordinate!

I always wondered why the barrier on that door was different from the others. You can see it, but you can't access it until right before the Hamilton house literally goes to Hell (it opens at the beginning of Corroder's scenario, and in the middle of that scenario, when you go back to your house, things have gotten weird). Maybe that's got something to do with why it wasn't found for so long, if it is Phillip's body.

Of course, I'd never thought that it was Phillip's body. I'd just assumed, like Alyssa said, it was one of the lodgers who'd somehow gotten in the way. But it's been there long enough for all the flesh to rot away, so it has to be pretty old. It could very well be Phillip.

I know Sigils block access, but can the block other things? Like sense of smell, since the whole bathroom must reek with death and rotting flesh someone must have smelt it. Maybe the sigil blocked the smell inside like it did with the ghost?

And why lavender? Most ghost actually have an actual sentimental item, but if it was Phillip, he really didn't lose anything sentimental. Maybe he was angry at Dick or for being dead? Or maybe since Nancy probably makes Lavender water, that Phillip's sentimental item would be something that reminds him of his wife?

And I've got another question, whatever happened to Dick's wife Francesca? Cause thats unknown to. Is she dead? Or maybe divorced? Or Traveling?

I know it's terrible to say so, but I always thought the ghost wanted lavender to cover up the smell of its own decomposition. ^_^;;

Good question. I think it's likely she's dead, personally. A huge chunk of Dick's motive seemed to be the belief that he and everyone he cared about was going to die and be separated forever, and the death of a spouse strikes me as something that could've gotten him started in that mindset.

That's what I always thought too! Didn't the game mention that it smelled really bad? If it didn't you can at least tell . . it's hinted. XD

I guess Chopper killed him because he was in the way. And yeah, I'd say the person he was trying to protect was a lover/girlfriend/wife/etc., who might have been who Chopper was really after.

Clock Tower 3 doesn't explain too much, does it? :ct1jennifer:

DOLPHINATSU WILL KILL U!

I checked my Japanese Clock Tower 3 Official Guidebook for any information about that ghost, I can't read exactly what it says, but there is nothing mentioning of "father" or "Philip" except that it was dead and needed Lavender. Also the American Clock Tower 3 Official Strategy Guide and they also said the same. Just a random Spirit.

That's also a very interesting point that you brought up about the man killed on Chopper's branch, the Spectacles Ghost. I also want to say that it could be Corroder's victim considering that its inside the sewers which seems more like his MO. But that's a good question. o.o;;

I hope in the future they remake all the CT games so they are better understanding, don't get me wrong, i LOVE CT3 and the Characters, but it doesn't explain some things and its kinda short. If they had more plot and development on it, then people wouldn't call it a bad game. (ITS NOT I TELLS YOU!)

Really? In the first level with the first spirit you meet, it was BADLY BURNT, not hammered or anything......

Sledgehammer: HEY THAT WAS MY VICTIM!!!!
Corroder: Too bad Lacky! XP

He could've been burned by a bomb or something. You know, with those zeppelins in the sky and all. Of course, that don't exactly explain how the ghost stayed behind. I forget, did it say that spirits have to be killed by Subordinates to become roaming ghosts, or were all dead dudes without unfinished business able to?

Edit: LOL! First thought in my head: Corroder be swiping everyone's victims! >V<
He'd totally do that!
