Yes, I am cosplaying as Alyssa next year. ^^ I've made a resolution with myself that I am going to go to London MCM, (AmeCon in Leicester is cancelled next year WTF), Minami-Con (in Southampton), and of course, the Waterstones Manga Recons in my area. And rather than sort out a cosplay for each one, I'm just going to go as Alyssa. :D For an entire year. As you've seen from my picture, I have Alyssa hair when it's straightened... but I'm getting a haircut soon, and I'll ask for it to be cut a bit shorter and have a fringe put in. ^_^ I know where to get a red tie, and I have a closet full of white shirts (I used to wear school uniform), along with the socks and the 'sensible brown shoes', but, I'm having trouble finding a green blazer. In my town, there is a formal outfitters, that apparently doesn't sell school uniforms anymore... the school order them in for you instead. D< This makes things rather difficult, 'cos I could have just waltzed in and bought a green blazer, a uniform from another local school. And to top it all off, I don't know any graduates from that school. ^^; Where would be a good place to get the green blazer and the tartan skirt? ^^ Wish me luck! |

Thanks! ^_^ I just looked at an Alyssa cosplayer on Cosplay.com - her's was pretty good. ^_^ But she used a brown skirt... And I have a brown skirt... yay! :D |

Ehhh... I don't know where to suggest really, I guess you could always try and find an internet site to order from... Really couldn't say how that's likely to turn out though. That kinda reminds me I was really tempted to make Alyssa on Soul Calibur IV because I downloaded the schoolgirl clothes, it had the blazer and the tartan skirt! Er, sorry, sidetracked! I mean, if I were you i'd probably look around local stores first like Next or Burton, smart-ish places like that but I guess you might end up having to order off t'internet for something decent. |

I still need to find a way to obtain the Mikeru costume... anywhoo, you could just see if me and chany can find one in Lincolnshire, seeing as the Gilrs grammar school has green blazors. Just need to find one that has no logo on it, hehe... |

Thanks! :D Thing is, my mum won't let me have a bob... despite the fact I used to have one for YEARS (age 4-11).. ¬_¬ But I am getting it cut and dyed a little lighter some time soon. ^^ I don't understand how impossible my hair is to straighten... I have really expensive Remington straighteners... but my hair only ever goes poker-straight when I go to the hairdressers. xD |

Hairdressers are magic at straighteneing, I KNOW THIS. But Vinnie you look great! I think you'll pull it off really good. I really don't see why your mum won't let you have a bob... It's your hair and... I think it'd suit you! Beg her! And then show us the finished result! I'd love to see it... Nice work! |
