Since there's apparently a fan-made pop'n music RPG, let's fantasize about a Clock Tower RPG! (Hey, we've already thought of dating sims, one more genre won't hurt.) If you or a group of people were to convert one of the Clock Tower games into an RPG plot, which would it be? Which do you think would be the easiest to convert into a RPG on terms of locations, characters, items and possible enemies without straying too far from the original source? Would you do something different and make up your own plot using characters from all of the games? This is another topic where you can think of possibilities and just have fun! |

Since it's my favorite out of the series, I would most like to see CT2 turned into an RPG. Sure, CT3 has the most fantastic plot, and GH's zombies would make lovely grinding fodder, but I chose it because I think the results would be the most interesting; it wouldn't be as easy to convert as those two since Scissorman (and the fakes) is your only enemy, if you don't count the occasional pests. Not that I'm saying that TFF is different from that, of course, but... Hey, I like 2! Also, you could even expand the plot, like add in things that were left out that were mentioned in Mr. Kohno's e-mails, or add more areas to explore like the hotel Edward and Kay stay in, and Helen's house. |

I always imagined that TFF would make a good RPG. Mainly I think this because it runs on the same engine as the original Monkey Island games. (I think... But those games are LEGENDARY if you've ever played them!) Which is basically like a point-and-click adventure game, minus scissorman and much more light-hearted and comedy-based. And even if we're talking about a sort of RPG-maker style game, I still think TFF would work. Big mansions, lots of places to look for key items and perhaps there could be some kind of system where items can be used to repel scissorman? I dunno, I never used RPG maker, only my sis did... And that was ages ago... |
Many thanks to Mori for making this sig and avatar for me! <3 | |

I think if you use enough imagination, you can make any of them into an RPG. XD But you'd probably have to change the abilities of the characters entirely or else it'd be boring. XD; Probably CT3 would work best since it already has magical elements to it, I would probably just add more characters. Maybe some more Ruders or other Subordinate fighting people with powers! =D |
