He and Jen are 9 years apart! Thats not so bad...... And sheesh! You guys hate Jen/Nolan, but Helen and Gotts are 12 years apart and I don't hear no complaining......XP

I think they were thrown together too quickly, and on too thin a pretense. Sure, they're smooching now, while they're buried under ten tons of rubble and think they're going to die... but after a few more dates, I think they're going to realize shared tragedy is all the relationship has going for it. It's not just them, either; I dislike Yuu/Ishizue for the same reason.

That's not cool. As for Helen/Gotts, neither one of them is a child. In my opinion, there is a difference.

You act as if that wouldn't change how people feel when it probably would. Not that I have a problem with either pairing, I'm just saying.

Speaking only for myself, it doesn't creep me out because it's a problem easily solved by setting the fanfic/fanart/whatever in the future, when all characters involved are adults. For instance, a Nolan/Jen shipper might write a fanfic in which a twentysomething Jennifer returns to Oslo and strikes up a romance with a thirtysomething Nolan. Or a Dannifer foe-yayer like myself might have a nineteen year old Edward confess the truth (and his feelings) to a twenty-four year old Jennifer. Edited by JBurroughs, Mar 25 2009, 08:16:21 PM.
