Posts: 936 Group: Detective Member #344 Joined: 11/17/08 Gender: Male ♂	Hey guys, while playing Clock Tower 3 I was thinking about the storyline and some of the annoying plot "twists" or developments, some of which are quite obvious or predictable even without playing the game. (Yes, Alyssa, your grandfather is behind it all, that gets explained LOTS of times stop acting so surprised. >:[ ) Anyway, I was thinking, we should make a thread where we all post our own ridiculously stupid plot twists we would have hated to see in the game! The kind of plot twists that would just make you slap your own forehead. Of course feel free to post any serious twists you think would have worked well, but here are a few of mine... - Alyssa is related to ALL of the subbies! - Dick didn't actually kill Philip... NANCY DID. - Alyssa is a subordinate! :o - (In a lame attempt to link the whole game to the originals) It was Mary Barrows' plan all along to get Burroughs defeated and then steal the tower for herself! - The whole story is all a dream! Those are a few I thought of that i'd hate to see, and hopefully that should give you guys some idea of what we're looking for. :D

TRILBY CLONES! headdesk /deceasedcrabmocking. Well, that got me thinking about clones aaaaand this popped in my head: All the subbies were either some sort of varied clones of Burroughs(see:containing some of Burroughs' DNA, some of random people) or descendants of said clones. That's why they were chosen by the Entities, rather than being chosen at random. I can just hear the thumps all over the world now.

Funnily enough I seem to remember someone telling me something along those lines, or like "Chopper put the axe down there" despite there being no evidence that he did. Hmmm, I got a pretty stupid one... Corroder is actually Philip! Just wearing a mask! Oooooooh, you guys SO didn't see that one coming!

Who was controlling a mecha Subordinate? That you had to fight? And after that battle, the two of them had a fist-fight on top of the mecha Subordinate (both of them being shirtless is optional)? And after that, there's a long chase sequence in which Alyssa and Dennis drive away in a car while Alyssa's clone drives after them? And after that the clone is killed, and she comes back in the sequel as someone's hand? On second thought, that would be rather awesome... And ripping off another series. Huh.

Jemima is Nancy in disguise, Nancy is secretly Linda, and Linda is secretly Jemima. How does that make sense? Only Corroder, who's secretly Sledgehammer, knows! XD ...Yeah, that's all I've got. Huh. :laugh: Oh god that was awesome! That's just the kind of thing that would just make me wanna beat my head against a concrete wall. Oh yes, blatent plot twist... BURROUGHS PLANNED IT ALL! He let her beat him because somehow that made him even more powerful, and he's coming back to haunt Alyssa. And god it was SO obvious but Alyssa fell for it! As main characters in games or movies often do...

All of the subbies were just making her think she was by feigning defeat! So basically the whole game is pointless! Waheeeey!

And Burroughs is the owner of the strip club, Dennis is a pimp coming to collect his money and hoes and they all are trying to screw Alyssa. Alyssa's mother was a stripper, but ran off with phillip and had Alyssa, who Burroughs wants to add to his collection of strippers. Dennis is Alyssa pimp/best friend who pays Nancy to be his hoe, but came to visit when Nancy disappeared and DIDN'T GIVE HIM HIS PAY, BETCH. Phillip was killed by Gangsta Dick in an epic shoot out. And Linda is the sexy nurse who is always trying to screw her cilents. XP I just totally ruined the game. XD

And he wears the GIRL'S uniform (Fate stuck a middle finger up at him) underneath his suit. You take off his bowler hat and there's an elaborate golden hairpiece that looks like Roman laurels.
