Depends on what dem people do.

Posts: 936 Group: Detective Member #344 Joined: 11/17/08 Gender: Male ♂	Well ya know, in all honesty I think it's gonna be like most games-turned-movies. I think it'll be good, but it won't be great. Again, it depends on what they put into it because they haven't even released a trailer for it, so we still just simply don't know. Like Lea I would like to see some classic elements included. But at the same time I wouldn't want it to be too similar, otherwise the movie is basically pointless, you mihgt as well just play the game. However, I wouldn't like to see it changed too much, otherwise, to me at least, it'll just be a horror movie with a Clock Tower in it. ALSO one other thing I hope they don't do is like... Try to combine all of the stories into the one movie. Because lord oh lord that would just spell disaster. It's not the best example but like with the Silent Hill movie it is based mainly off the first one, but they included pyramid head from SH2, and he was just really out of place. He had no relevance to the story either really. So yes, those are my thoughts in a nutshell.

But like always with these kinds of films (horrors with the belle-du-jour (in this case Brittany Snow) running away from a serial killer/supernatural force), the critics are probably just sat in their chairs rubbing their hands together in glee, thinking up all the synonyms for 'awful', 'bad', etc. ^^ Thing is, I think they will have a CT reference in there somewhere. Maybe one of the characters playing the original? Lol.

I'm just waiting until it actually comes out, or at least until some concrete info about the movie (like a trailer or an official website) shows up.

Poor Dan... Posts: 1,002 Group: Hospital Director Member #85 Joined: 03/20/07 Gender: Female ♀	I'm not really willing to form an opinion until we get some info on this movie, since there isn't much. Still, game-based movies aren't usually very good, and I'm starting to wonder if they will ever start filming. At the very least, if it ever does come out, it may bring some publicity to the game, and hopefully that publicity won't be attached to "it sucks."
	I know, it's generic and unoriginal, but...

Most game movies usually suck (but I liked Mortal Kombat), so I hope this one will come out at lest okay. I wish the movie would have a Scissorman, that actually has giant scissors, not same kind of a blades that Ralph had that formed a scissor shape when put together.

Thus I am cautiously hopeful. But the current status of the film makes me even wonder if it will be made. My guess is that the movie will be pretty much mediocre (Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li quality)

At least we don't have to look forward to Uwe Boll doing it. Thank God for that one. Other than that, I'll pass judgment when (And if) it comes out. If it sucks, I'm adding 2000 years of punishment.
