Okay, in this thread we make up "What if?" scenarios that would affect one or more of the Clock Tower games in gameplay, scenario or whatever. For example, what if the heroines (excluding Helen) were older? Would we be just as sympathetic towards grown women as we are to teenage girls? How would the plot change? (Jennifer couldn't be adopted in the first game if she were an adult, for example.) And, yeah, stuff like that. Ask a question, then give theories on what might be changed. Feel free to add your thoughts! Just... Please, no "LOL RANDOM!!" questions, okay? That stuff's starting to give me a headache. |

What if... Bobby was a girl. Would we be less afraid, would our views change on WHY he murders girls and would Mary instead adopt boys for her precious daughter? Would the game be less frightening? Would the creators have made the characters stronger as boys, made them run faster? Would the game be harder because the boys aren't as slender as Mary so can't dress up as Mary? Would Dan be a girl as well? Would it be Mary in the cage instead of Simon? Would the boy do a Jennifer and trip? Would we hear the girlish screams of our main characters' friends and would Scissorwoman carry dainty scissors and wear a tutu? Would the male version of Lotte look like Ron Weasely? Oh, what if Bobby was a girl... (and now that song 'If I were a boy' is in my head) er... I hope that is okay? |

What if Clock Tower were a different genre? The first three games are already sort of like adventure games, so that'd work. There would still be serial killers to watch out for, but maybe the wouldn't directly come after you? (That sucks, sorry. XD ... Andddd I mean my thing, not yours!) What if Jennifer wasn't Jennifer? What if she did everything we told her to do and never ran into Bobby? Would the game be too easy, would we get bored, would we not scream at her to turn back and run away from Bobby? What if what if what if... |

What if Clock Tower 3 starred Jennifer instead of Alyssa? o: Would she discover she had Rooder blood in her all along, or will she have to fight her foes with her wit alone? |

What if Mary was brainwashed? Would she help Jennifer out in the end of it all? Would she destroy Bobby? Would she become happy and welcome Jennifer into her home and become the loving mother? Oh, another one... Hey Lime, isn't it just me and you doing these things... okay, on I go... What if Jennifer's dad never died? Would there be a new main character? What would she be like? Would she be more confident, less scared and stronger? Would she be able to stand up for herself and kick Bobby's butt? |

Errrr... Electrocution? *Lame* Anyway, seriously... What if... Perhaps something happens like Dick and Lord Burroughs fall out and they both argue over who gets to do the ritual of engagement or something? Would it change the last boss battle? Possibly have a completely different ending? Perhaps even Dick might change his mind and become good at the end and be all like "I know it's all my fault, sorry you got chased by loads of serial killers, but it's all good, right?" OR what if there were still other subordinates? It makes no mention of them being the ONLY subordinates in existence? Food for CT4? Perhaps Alyssa's nightmare isn't over yet... |

Quite honestly I have a feeling that if CT was too popular it'd probably have absolutely shocking future releases... And I can just imagine the damn Scissorman fanboys worshipping the ground he even walks on. "ZOMG! Ooooh, here's one... What if Alyssa could run faster? Would the game be less scary? Or would the subbies be able to run even faster to make up for it? :tongue: |

Ahahaha, then we'd have all these shipping wars too. Not that we don't; but... FF7 shipping wars might as well be fought out on a battlefield somewhere... Wait, we have shipping wars? Man, I'm not even in the FF7 fandom and I know that is so true. I've never seen any up close, but I've heard that the shipping wars can get really bloody. And a talking bow and arrow... Oh god. XDDD Why do I want to see that in a fic or something? |

What if you get the chance to play as a subordinate? and if the Ritual of Engagement done, you get to see the rest of their story, what would happen to them depending on their character. Don't think that some of them are happy to be a subordinate. Some of them might seek freedom. |
