I don't know if this has been posted before, but I recently watched the film 'Candyman' for the first time in years, and a couple of things reminded me of CT. First of all, Virginia Madsen's character Helen bares a striking resemblance to Helen Maxwell. The Japanese Wikipedia translation lists Gillian Anderson as the basis for the character of Helen. Gillian and Virginia also looked strikingly similar around the time of CT2's development. More interestingly, the film contains the line "It was always you, Helen. It was always you." This line is used in the first game, with Helen's name being replaced by Jennifer's. Thought I'd share :] |
