Has anyone else noticed that you can hide under things in CT3? In the place with the piano in the first chapter, me and my friend were fooling around with the game and I decided to crawl under the piano and wait for sledgehammer to show up. I thought he would pull Alyssa out from the piano or something, but he couldn't even find me. After a while, he left. Is that suppose to happen, or did I miss something? o_o You can also hide under the bridge which is by May's house. And in the hospital place with the scissortwins, you can hide in the hole in the wall, you know the one that lets you crawl from one room to another? If you stay in the middle they can't find you. It's strange but I guess it comes in handy. lol. Did anyone else find any strange hiding places which aren't really suppose to be there? xD Edited by Cat, Aug 14 2009, 10:39:00 PM.

Well, to be honest I don't really think it's a case of them just simply not supposed to be being there. I think they're ones that you just have to use your head a bit more for, by that I mean you have to use them in advance of a subbie jumping into the room AND finding the place because you don't get a pretty glowing icon next to it. One thing you have to bear in mind is that, like normal hiding places, they're only good so long as you don't get caught entering it, i'm pretty sure once you get spotted they'll continue to chase you, and if you crawl underneath a bridge, piano or whatnot, they'll wait for you to come out, as long as it takes. Only exception is the room with the scissortwins you mentioned earlier, but I think that's because you effectively enter another room altogether (And the only other entrance is locked.) as they can't see you at all they give up and disappear until you come out again. Another place I heard about (although I could never get it to work for myself very well) is that you can hide behind the reception desk in the lobby of the theatre in the Sledgehammer chapter, one thing that kinda didn't help is that because you're not in a space where you have to be crawling, when you stop moving Alyssa will sit up into that squatting position, so I think her head pokes above the desk... I could be wrong though. :D |

I always thought it was weird when you hide behind the fish tank that you were never seen. I mean it's not like you were ever ducking when you hid there. |

In corroder's chapter, (the place you find the skeleton) I like to get on the ledge, that helps I think (I don't really remember it's been so long since I've played) and there was once or twice in Chopper's chapter with the pillars (one with the lions on them) but it only really works if you hide there before the music starts =P |

in Chopper's chapter in pillars with lions on them u can hide there by seting and he wont find u .. and u can hid behaind the red crtens in the first chapter even if u get behaind them while being chased he wont get to u ... |
