OK, I don't exactly think that if a new CT picks up it'll resume Jennifer's struggle dealing with the Barrows (which would all be dead in the water right now, since Simon died of starvation, Mary either was pecked to death and fell or was electrocuted, and we all know Dan and Bobby's greatest hits). Or not! So seeing how they took off from TFF picking an ending that wasn't the best one since nobody besides Jennifer survived, what would you like to think of your ideal 'canon' ending for CT2? Myself? Long as it's an ending where Gotts survived, game on. For whichever reason I really like the guy. |

I voted Helen A. Seems like the other person to vote thus far did as well. I think her A ending was the most realistic. Helen's too strong willed, resourceful, and capable to have gotten any other ending. When she told Jennifer everything would be all right, you knew that everything was going to be all right. I'm especially confident Helen's A is canon if she did Scenario 2. Edited by wayc, Aug 30 2009, 05:17:21 PM.

While Helen's A ending is the happiest, I think the ending that best fits the game's gloomy tone without being too much of a downer is Helen's D ending, in which she succeeds in rescuing Jennifer but, having caught the fake Scissorman in the act and having found nothing to indicate he had help, allows the true mastermind to escape. It doesn't hurt that this ending also has the best potential for a sequel. |
