So I recently got my hands on the PlayStation 1 version of Clock Tower ~The First Fear~ and after reading Enig's topic listing all the differences in the Windows 95 version of the game, I'd take a stab at trying to make a similar list showing all the differences I could find/notice in the PSX version of the game. Unfortunately, I won't be able to list any differences in text/dialog, 'cause I can't read Japanese ^_^;; Anyway, *ahem*... here I go!

[Starting Up The Game]
-The HUMAN Entertainment logo is different. It now has a white outline and a black inside, instead of the red outline with white outline.
-The game now has an FMV before the title screen.
-The title screen now says "Clock Tower ~The First Fear~" instead of just "Clock Tower". It also uses the way the "Clock Tower" logo looks in the opening of Clock Tower Second.
-There is a new option in main menu. "Load Game".
-You have to move your cursor over the option you want instead of just select them with the control pad.

[Misc. Gameplay Changes]
-Instead of holding down a button to view your inventory, all you have to do is move your cursor to the bottom of the screen.
-Inventory items turn red instead of lighting up when you mouse over them. It also doesn't show their name.
-There's a save option in the inventory window.
-Jennifer's portrait now has different colors for her panic levels. They are (Calmest to Panic-y-ist) Blue, Green, Orange, Red. The Blue is a lighter shade then everyone else's portraits (and her own in the SNES version).

[Hidng Spot Changes]
-Crawling through the hole inbetween the courtyard and Rubble Room 1 no longer stops Bobby from chasing you.
-You can hide in the car in the garage but it seems you can only do this once as after you leave the car seems to vanish if you hide in it.

[The Beginning ~ Girls Arrive at Barrows Mansion]
-In the SNES version, there is a table next to Lotte. The table is absent in the PSX version.
-After Jennifer tells Lotte she'll go look for Ms. Mary, the song "I'm Looking for Mary" doesn't play like in the SNES version.
-When Jennifer walks into the next hall, she manages to get all the way to the window instead of standing at the door to Rubble Room 1 (like in the WIN95 version).
-When she hears the scream, she runs back into the foyer, where in the SNES version she just walks back.

[Exploring Begins ~ No Girls Are Dead... Yet]
-If you wait in the sitting room (the room with the TV), after awhile, the TV will turn on. You'll get a zoom version of the TV and the static creates an image that looks almost like Dan for a brief moment.
-When you click on the dresser in the bedroom to get the perfume, it actually shows Jennifer bending down to pick it up.
-When you look at the picture on the dresser the song "Dead End" plays while it shows the close-up of the picture. The game is silent in the SNES version.
-Instead of the hand reaching out of the mirror to strangle you like in the SNES version, sometimes the mirror will shatter when you examine it.
-You get a close up look at the parrot and it's cage before Jennifer releases it.
-The mist in the bathroom where you can find Laura looks different (this also goes for the mist you can create in the room with the insecticide cans.).

That's it for now. I'll be working on playing the game and keeping a close eye on any differences I can find and updating this soon. If you find any errors in what I've posted, please tell me so I can fix it ^_^
