And this time, they’re out to destroy winter! The monsters are stealing all of the Snow Flakes in Madrigal! Even worse, they are making off with the Snow Fairies to ensure there can be no snow for FlyFF this year. And what kind of FlyFF winter would it be without snow? We can’t let that happen FlyFFers… The god of winter, Baby Snowman is asking you all for help! From Jan. 8th to Jan. 21st monsters will be dropping the stolen Snow Flakes and Snow Fairies. Collect them and Daddy Snowman will be sure to give you a token of his appreciation! FAQ: When is the event? From Jan. 8th – Jan 21st How does the event work? Any monster (Lvl. 15+) has a chance to drop a Snow Flake or Snow Fairy when killed. Collect 10 Snow Flakes and bring them to the Baby Snowman to get a Red Balloon. Accept the second quest from Baby Snowman. Once you have done this, collect 10 Snow Fairies and bring them to the Baby Snowman to get a Blue Balloon. Accept the third quest from Baby Snowman. Once you have done this, go speak to Daddy Snowman above Flarine to get a Yellow Balloon. What do the Balloons do? Each of the Balloons will do the following when activated: Red Balloon: + 50 to Attack Points Blue Balloon: + 100 to Defense Points Yellow Balloon: + 150 to HP Are the balloons trade-able? Yes. All of the balloons are tradable. How does the timer on the items work? The timer on the items will begin to count down once they are activated, not once they enter your inventory. The timer will not count down while you are logged off. Where are the Event NPC's located? Baby Snowman can be found in each town. Flarine: Central Saint Morning: Near Saint Hall Darkon: Darkon 2 Daddy Snowman can be found in the floating ship above Central Flarine. Can I turn in a bunch of Snow Flakes/Snow Fairies at once? No. You can only complete this quest once. This being the case, after you have gotten your three balloons, the rest of the event items you receive will be useless. I highly suggest trading them to other players or deleting them to save room in your inventory. Can I use more than one balloon at a time? No. You may only use one balloon at a time. Choose wisely! Can the balloons be removed? No they cannot. This is very important FlyFFers. Please make sure you are 100% sure you wish to activate a balloon, as it cannot be removed until the timer expires. How long do the Balloons last for? Three in-game days. (72 in-game hours) This means the timer will NOT count down while you are logged off. Is Baby Snowman REALLY the God of winter? Yes. Yes he is. Gods can be young too ya know. Notes: (Important!) - Don't use a Balloon unless you are prepared for it to be with you for three days!. You'll be stuck with it for a long time and won't be able to do anything about it. - You must be at least level 20 or above to participate in this event as the only way to reach Daddy Snowman is by flying to the ship above Central Flarine. - To all users who use the skill “Dark Illusion”: Using a balloon with effectively render this skill useless, as the Balloon will not turn invisible. F-O-R! F-U-N! Hey there Flyffers, The Flyff Team is bringing you a new event... and this one is unlike any we’ve ever done before. From November 27th to December 17th monsters will start dropping Letter Cards. Turn these cards into the Card Master in Flaris to get items which will provide you with special buffs for a period of time. Spell... And get... FLY +15% Move Speed FOR +100 Defense Points FUN +200 Attack Points The players that turn in the most completed words during this event will win a special prize! The player that turns in the most completeted words per server will receive a Legendary Golden Box. Three players per server will be our runners-up. They will receive an Angel Box. Remember, this event only works with the new Letter Cards, not any from previous events. Event FAQ: How does this event work? From November 27th to December 17th monsters will start dropping Letter Cards. Turn these cards in and voila! You will get some awesome items in exchange. Who do I turn the cards into? The cards must be turned into the Card Master. She can be found in Eastern Flarine. What do the items do for me? Nothing, until you activate them. When you activate the items they will give you buffs. There are three different buffs that can be received depending on what combination of cards you turn in. The cards that you turn in must spell out one of the following words: Spell… And get… F-L-Y +15 Move Speed F-O-R +150 Defense Points F-U-N +200 Attack Points Will I lose my buffs if I die? No, you will not. The buffs will last for one hour, regardless if you die. Is there a limit to how many items I can get in a day? There is no limit. In fact, the more words you turn in the better! Can I turn all my cards in at once? No, you cannot. The cards can be turned in one word at a time. For example, say that you have enough letters to spell out FLY and FOR. You would have to speak to the Card Master twice in order to get your items. How long do my buffs last? The buffs from the items will last for 1 hour. How do I get the cards? The letter cards will be dropping from all monsters level 10 and higher during the event. If you want the cards, get out there and grind for em! Are the buffs stackable? While the items you receive from the Card Master are stackable, the buffs are not. Are the prizes for collecting the most words given out per server? Or are there overall winners? There are 4 winners per server. The person who collects the most words per server will receive a Legendary Golden Box. The three runner-ups will receive an Angel Box. What is in the Legendary Golden Box? How do I get one? Legendary Golden Boxes will be given out to the player who collects the most words per server. The Legendary Golden Box includes one Legendary Golden item. When you open the box, you will be given a Legendary Golden item at random. What is in the Angel box? How do I get one? Angel Boxes will be given out to our 3 runner ups per server. The Angel Box includes one Angel item. 11/12/2008 There've been some rough periods lately and, when we can, we like to try to give our Flyffers something for sticking with us through the hardship. Beginning on Nov.13th and ending on Nov. 19th, we will be hosting a Fan Appreciation Event. This event has something for everyone, including some free gPotato items. What exactly does this event include? There are 3 parts to this event: 3x XP until the end of the event, a Drop Event, and free gifts to everyone (over lvl.15) that logs in. This is because we've reviewed the concurrent user data and noticed that the population on some channels were far below their max capacity. Your gameplay experience will not be affected. If anything, you might notice more people playing than before, and hopefully that's a good thing. Our Engineering Team is working with Aeonsoft to get the last server back up for you. Unfortunately, as this is a long and strenuous process, there is no ETA for the return of Demian. Current Server Status: Clockworks – ONLINE Glaphan - ONLINE Mushpoie - ONLINE Kern - ONLINE Mia - ONLINE Aibatt - ONLINE Lawolf - ONLINE Demian – OFFLINE As each server returns please know that the following features may not function properly right away.
