I love Bread - we knead the dough......
Now you can use a signature with your username. You just go to your My controls link

See Fig 1.

Once there, scroll down the menu on the left and find the Edit Signature link.

See Fig 2.

Click on the link. You get a screen with a box very similar to your reply box on posts.

If you want to do a simple Text link, you write in the same manner as you would on a post. Note: If you change font color or similar, remember to close the tags you use as you would on a post.

If you want to go for something a little more complex, you can put a picture banner in there (please note, not too large otherwise they will be removed!) and you can also link to a website address. Perhaps your own MySpace or a favourite Website you have.

First - if you want to either center your text or your picture you need to place the following code in ahead of the picture or text you want to center.*excluding gaps between the [] and type because otherwise I wouldn't get the code to show*

[ align=center ] Your Text or Link to an Image here. Image link as you would in a normal post with the correct coding needed [ /align]

This will look something like this when done properly.

Your Text or Link to an Image here. Image link as you would in a normal post with the correct coding needed

Now, if you want to center a picture and also put a link on it, the code will look like the one I'm using on my signature *again, remove all gaps between [] and text*

[ URL=http://www.mandanajones.net ][ align=center ][ IMG ]http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd123/oldschoolnewschool/sigbanner.jpg[/IMG]

This gives the signature I have.

Feel free to use this thread to test out your various attempts at these codes.
