Do you shop in them??? or donate???
Locally to me there are loads and I often get good bargains in them, especially trousers and suits, I bought my RAF suit dead cheap, We always take our grown out of clothes there for recycling if they are salvagable....what do you do????

Every few months I force Cyril to have a clear out and we put them in the shops.

The only problem is Cyril goes off shopping again because all hy has done is made room for more stuff...as hy sees it. Hy clears out hys shoes regularly for this then goes and buys another 4 pairs more than hy threw out.

hy will also say hy is helping a neighbour carryout some furniture or something to the bins because it's big and she's only little.......Then hy comes back with the furniture as hy has convinced her we need it. I find out when said furniture is installed.

i love charity shops but just dont get the chance to visit often!! but over the years have done well with stuff from them.
but now i use freecycle because its so much easier to work in around work and so can often get a lot of stuff from there and also have given out things that otherwise would have gone in the dustbin because i dont have the time to get to the charity shops now.

I like charity shops for books, games and cds but rarely get clothes because i rarely see anything modern enough for my taste.

I have also cleared out my bookcase, something I spend days, weeks owrking up to because I love my books so much, but some had to go.....Mostly because I know of a book sale coming up soon which will mena being able to buy hard backs at 70p or paperbacks for 40p and I usually spend about £20 at that so I need the space.....

I love charity shops. You can get some real finds there. I tend to mostly get books but every so often something will catch my eye....

We have this really funky shop called Armstrongs which is a 2nd hand shop but not a charity shop - and it has clothes from literally every decade in the last century. It's got sections for everything and it's not charity shop cheap but a damn site cheaper than picking them up elsewhere. It's like a treasure trove of everything you could ever want.

Me too. I like stuff that's not so generic....... a little bit different. And hey if you can grab a bargain why not - just means you can buy 5 outfits for the price of 1. And more clothes is alllllways good.
