Hi,

I started with a high APR then they reduced it as i had kept up with my payments, I dont really have a complaint about the APR, my credit rating was rubbish so it was all I could expect, I wouldn't have gone there if I thought I could have got a better deal elsewhere.. it was purely out of desperation!

My complaint is that I have a finance agreement for more then twice the value of the car of which I have paid more than £1500 in repairs in less than 24 Months..

After reading all of this information I have decided to challenge YCC. My first stop is to ask for a statement of my account detailing the amount I have paid towards the car and the amount I have towards their phoney insurance and worthless warranty (AKA toilet paper).

Wish me luck!

£1500 worth of repairs over 2 years is about normal for a car. My car which I bought brand new has cost more than that over the first 2 years. Cars are not free to run and they do go wrong.
I've got a mortgage for £170,000 on my house and am paying back £350,000. Credit costs money.

You paid out over £1500 for repairs on a brand new car in the first two years?

Please tell me the name of the manufacturer, I will take up your case for you with trading standards regards not honouring the 12 year manufacturers warranty.

And then I will help you claim back the money you paid out during the 2nd and 3rd years dealership warranty, because that must have been one badly run franchise! (I am assuming that it is not the handful of obscure makes not coming with a 3 year warranty)

Unless of course you are a YCC employee and made all that up... No? :o
