Some advice please bought a car three months ago (bad mistake) it has been in the garage now for four weeks and this is the third time its been in. I now longer want this heap of junk and told the garage to keep it. I have also now stopped my direct debt from the bank. There is no way I'm taking it back this time. How can I cancel the agreement ? and has anyone else had the same prop.

Joe05,

First report it to Trading Standards. See the link on this site
Second e-mail Charlie.MacDonald@directautofinance and tell him your story.
Third, except letters from YCC recovery dept.

I have been informed that if you have a dispute with a car then it is up to the supplier, YCC, to prove the car was roadworthy. Not many people know that but my friend the criminal solicitor does. After talking to Trading Standards I think you might have a good case. Give them a go but do contact this MacDonald guy as he is the Customer Service Director.

Good luck
