I got the info about YCC having to prove the car was roadworthy from a friend of mine who happens to be a solicitor. His words to me went a bit like this: -

"Not many people know this but the supplier of a car would have to prove to a court that the car was roadworthy"

I'm not too sure that YCC's 125 point check etc would carry much weight in court especially with the publicity they have been getting.

Basically anyone in a position of buying a car recently from YCC and are having the problems we are reading about then I would suggest that they mention the above quote to their solicitor.

Any lawyers out there who would like to comment?
