Hi Mattley, Welcome to the forum. Firstly, sorry for the delay in answering you. I've tried three times, but everytime my computer crashes. (Mental note to self: Next time dont buy computer from man in pub for £50 when I've had six pints!!) Anyway, back to your problem...... The first thing you need to do is return your car and reject it as "Not fit for the purpose". Ask them for your part ex car back and go to a more reputable dealer. They should still have your car as I dont think they would have sold it this quickly. Lets face it, if this has gone wrong on the first day, what could happen in the next week/month/year?? When you pay good money for a car, you need peace of mind. Not the nagging doubt that it could go wrong at any moment. I am not sure whether you are aware but Carcrafts new "UCAN CAR CREDIT" is being run by the very same people responsible for running Yes Car Credit. Look what a mess they made of that> We are keeping a very close watch on them and their methods. So far, it is not looking too good. If Carcraft will not let you return the car, go to the Trading Standards and report them. They are quite familiar with Carcraft. Also, inform your finance company about the problem. They might even be able to give you some support . Follow this up with a letter sent by recorded delivery to Carcrafts head office in Rochdale outlining the reasons. . Dont be fobbed off by any offer to repair it. If their checks were any good in the first place, the car wouldn't have broken on the first day. Hope this helps. Good luck and please keep us informed of any developments. We will always be pleased to help. Take Care, Buzz. |
