have just read that site. Tax Credits want £11,500 back from me dating back to 2002. I tried to politely tell them b censored s but they are having none of it. Have even had my local MP involved and they have fobbed him off with the same rubbish.

they tried to be cocky at first giving dates of letters they never thought i'd have to base their arguments on. Unfortunately I have kept every letter from them since I first claimed. They then tried to make out I was not giving them the correct information. Now when I was working I would never get my P60 until May and every year I was told this was fine as long as I gave them the info asap after I received it. Well I did this but then they would try to claim back everything they had paid between April (beginning of the tax year) until June when they had updated their records.

then when my partner and I seperated in July last year they tried to make out that we were not entitled to any money from April until July when I made a single claim. They wrote to me yesterday and said that I owed them another £2500 for the period April 6th until May 23rd this year (when I had my second son) even though my new award started on the 1st May and it their office that has done that.

I am sick of them trying to make out I have lied and been falsely claiming money. I have never in my life claimed anything I was not entitled too. Now the one thing they can't explain or won't answer is how if they send 10 letters a year on average and never pay the amounts they say they are going to pay on these letters this is my fault? (and yes I have all my bank statements to prove this is true as well)

the best thing is that the more people I complain too and the more I argue with them, they cannot claim back the money!!!
