Its amazing isnt it. Car sales is such a cut throat business so you would think that these companies would want to go one better and be the ones to hold on to their share of the market. Surely they would want to be the best in the business. however, time and again we hear stories about the shoddy service from these places. It makes you wonder why they act in this way. A friend of mine recently went to The Car People, the ones that advertise on the telly dressed in pink doing all that feng shui type thing. He saw a car he liked and told the salesman he would buy it cash if they would put six months tax on it. The salesman said "No, you take it or leave it, we sell 100 cars a week so if you dont buy it someone else will" For the sake of £80.00 !!! But, if he took it on credit they would do, so he said no. Then for the next three weeks they kept phoning him to ask if he was still interested. My friend told them where to shove it and spent his money elsewhere Buzz |
