Having bought a car from YCC in November 2004 I was talked into buying the Gap insurance which I thought was a good idea at the time. I was also talked into a 3 year warranty but was never explained the cost of this. After paying half the payments financially I couldn't afford to keep the car any longer as couldn't afford the payments and according to the agreement I could return it. To cut a long story short I returned the car but they told me that I had to pay the warranty and the Gap in full even though I was not longer using them. I notice that the £200 deposit I paid for the car did not come off the car at all but off the costs of the Gap and Warranty which was not explained at the time. YCC are now pursueing me for over £1000 and are phoning me at least 3 times a day both on my mobile and my home number. What can I do about this? This is harrassement is it not. |
