This is general practise within car/finance companies. With there being no prices displayed on the cars, the actual price is over inflated by upto £2000. When a car is brought in for PX they offer the customer over inflated prices, however the true price given for the px can be, as in your case £1.00 This does save a large amount of VAT for the garage and also makes money at auction when the PX is sold. |
