you have a right under section 99 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 to terminate your agreement at anytime. If you do this before the half way stage you are liable for all payments up to half way and any arrears. if you are over the 50% mark all you are liable for is arrears and insurances which you do not have. There should be a rebate though as you are terminating early. Just remember to write a letter to them and send it recorded delivery and to keep a copy for your records and keep paying them until they say otherwise. Good luck!!! |
