Hi All, I was wondering if anybody could help me. I am writing on behalf of a friend who has been for years trying to sort out his debt problems, but instead of sorting them out, they have just been getting worse. Besides for WCF he owes approximately £5k to other companies, which we may be able to sort out if we can deal with Welcome. Over a year ago, he bought a car from a branch in Manchester that has since closed. The car definitely didn't pass the 125 points which was definitely a joke. He couldn't pay up, and they took the car of him. Now they have marked a default in all 3 credit reference agencies of £15,789! He doesn't feel he owes them the money. Also, even if he were to come to an agreement with the other companies he owes money to, it would be substantially limited because of this stupid debt. What do we do? I've got no clue anymore!
