Like most of you we are now experiencing the delights of Go Debt and their staff who are unhelpful, bullying and damn right underhanded! We started to receive calls from them on Thursday and then every day since then!!! They are apparently chasing my husband for an amount which arose following him signing a YCC agreement two years ago! - oh i wish i had known him then as we would certainly not got involved with mis-selling and underhanded tatics. Because of the manner in which they conduct their calls i decided to call the firm and ask a few questions - the staff are nothing short of rude, abusive and bullying individuals - i asked for the complaints department - in order to that i could address my concerns to - i received abuse from the firm stating that i think i am clever oh and by the way will now receive additional charges due to my attitude to the Go Debt staff!!!! The firm are in breach of the Consumer Credit requirements (Debt Recovery) due to the manner in which they conduct their affairs, they are also in breach of the Section 40 of the Adminsitration of Justice Act! In addition the firm also claim to be members of the credit services association which has a members code of conduct which as you've guessed they breach that too!!! Although we are married have have not changed my name to my husbands name and today i received a call from Go Debt on my personal mobile asking if we had received a letter for him - interested to see how they have obtained my information - so we might as well add breach of Data Protection to the list as well! We have asked for a copy of the agreement which has not been forth comming yet we just receive abuse and threats of 'Bankruptcy' !!!! I was going to write to William Rhodes however i am unsure if this would be of use - has anyone had any dealings with him - is he as disgusting as his members of staff? We are finding that if you do not bow down to their harssement then they turn nasty - it is getting my husband down but i am not leeting such small minded, vile people ruin our life!!! My husband has been told that he should not make an enemy of the person who is contacting him - so i take it that we are supposed to be grateful for the dail calls we receive as they are always conducted in the most pleasant manner! Anyway thanks for giving me the opportunity to rant - feel slightly better  |
