Jude I am making this public knowledge so that they are aware of what is to happen. They cannot simply carry on flouting the law and think no one knows what to do about it. If Mr Rhodes is reading this it will give them an oportunity to come back within the law and this will ultimately help the communications for members of this site when dealing with GO DEBT. As you saw last night if Barclays can be exposed for shoddy dealings so can GO DEBT. I can assure you that my friend has an excellent record at rescinding CCL licences when debt collectors fall foul of the regulations. I have no debt owed to Go DEBT so I have no axe to grind with them other than they should act within the guidelines of the law. Let us wait an see what the DTI and OFT come up with. I understand that the complaint will involve a request to rescind the CCL so that cannot trade any further as Debt collectors, due to major breaches of the regulations. This is very serious for them and they may need to tighten up their procedures. Anyway I am only the messenger on this so let us see what happens. |
