 after getting a faulty car in 2002 from welcome i returned the car back stopped the payments within 2 month,s moved on etc i checked my credit file with experian i had a default as settled with proggessive finances (welcome) marked 23/02 2002 the start date of the agreement then in feb2007 i decided to check my credit files with experian and equifax it now shows the same debt being with hillesden securities defaulted in 07/2005 i have checked with the credit refferance agencys and the ico and discoverd they are not allowed to change the default status once sold on ive rang up hillsden found out that proggressive finances (welcome) had given this innacurate infomation i have just wrote to hillesden to explain this with relevant paperwork credi report evidence and cca request ect however i checked with call credit it shows on there that i started the payments in 03 2005 with 2 months started as defaulted payments marked and then 7 months paid on time then 2 month,s defaulted this wholly in accurate info as never made any payments in these dates or year iam just waiting for a reply from hillesden before i pass these details on to the infomation commisioner and i will be passing on my cca to be looked at here  and i will never ever let myself get in this horriball situation again
