when i had my car from YCC and the warranty said 6,000 miles (although manufacturer said 12,000 - mine was a fiat) I rang MB&G and told them I would be going by the manufacturers service schedule. They said this was fine as long as I had the book stamped every service I had so I think as long as you have done the same you will be fine. I know for a fact there is no point servicing a ford at 6,000 miles. My ford mondeo I just sold went over the service schedule (was not on a warranty) by 3,000 miles at one point and it was still running fine
