Hi. Thanks for the replies, peeps. I should make it clear that I've only just heard from them, and intend to follow up on your advice, and talk to the CAB, but I haven't been threatened with bankruptcy. Yet! I wanted to know if they are amenable to discuss monthly payments, whatever amount I am liable for. If so, what's the best way to go about it? I've just received the CSA and a few other bits from them, but that's all, so far. My disposable income is very low, due to divorce and other debts etc., so I'm looking at offereing a very small repayment figure - probably less than £50 a month, probably nearer £10!!! Before I start panicking, I wondered if anyone has similar circumstances and experience of making offers etc. I can provide them with Income and Expenditure / Budget statements etc. I'll make enquires with CAB and National Debtline on Monday, and keep you posted. Thanks again Jb |
