They will normally tell you when your car is being collected. I'm sure that no 'bully boy' tactics will be used. It's not Yes Car Credit that collect the car it will be an agent. I'm not too sure how many payments you have missed, but I am sure if it's only one and you wish to keep the car Yes will come to some arrangement. But you will need to contact them. This is of course if you wish to keep the car. Talk to CAB first thing Monday and take advice from them. ;) |

Hi. You will probably find that Trading Standards may drag there heels. They won't get involved with the finance side of thing. Only issues with your car. Can you please tell me what the problems are with the car. A bit more details please on why you have Trading standards involved. ;) |

hi, i bought the car in feb, by june the car had problems with the oil pump and things relating to that which i dont really understand but the mechanic has all the details! the car wasnt drivable so had to be towed into the garage and i was told by the mechanic that if i had driven the car i would have caused the engine 2 fail completely and so needing a replacement engine. the garage did the repairs 4 me but the warranty refused to pay the bill and yes car absolutely refuse the cars condition is anything to do with them. i paid way over the odds 4 a 3 year old astra, nearly 10 000 by the time everything was added and so i withheld a months payment to go part way in covering the garage bill. i was assured at the time of purchase that the car was very reliable, i stressed this was most important as i work with vunerable adults with physical or learning disalilities and i have to take them in my car and also make home visits, people rely on me to help them live independently and i tiold the salesman all this, but still they let me down! now the are going to take it back coz i cant afford the increased monthly payments, they increased these by £70 a month, scandalous! i tried to reason with them and told them im a single parent trying to make ends meet and i could increase payments by £10 pr month, they wouldnt hear of this and are very rude on the phone! |

Hi. It seems as though you want to keep the car. All I can really suggest is to call Horsham HO, ask to talk with Charlie MacDonald, 01403 246 300 Explain the situation to him about the problems you have had with the car and that you need and want to keep it. Ask for the monthly figure to be lowered so you are able to meet the payments. It's worth telling him that you have been in touch with us here at the web-site and you have also been to CAB. I wouldn't hope too much that Trading Standards will be able to help all at this stage, but it's still worth talking to them. It's worth a call to Charlie MacDonald, as in the past he has helped a number of site members and guest out. Let us know how you get on. Good Luck. ;) |

Hello. Yes, it took place and yes there is a transcript. However the server that I was using to host the web chat is down for maintenance. It will be up and running and batteries recharged by Tuesday. As soon as I have them I will let you have a copy. Any news on your car ? |

may i suggest while you wait for charlie to ring. which can be a long wait. that you put all this in writing and address it to charlie at head office horsham and keep a copy for your self. the extra few pence for sign on delivery is worth it too. could be a faster way of getting his attention focused on your plight. ring them them first thing monday morning to make sure they know your still waiting for charlie to ring. they often forget . ask to be put through to complaints investigation department . |
