After today's developments in assisting one of our members getting his contract cancelled and part exchange car returned we have learnt one thing Yes Car Credit continue to the very end in telling lies. We have a member of Preston branch management Peter Greenwood informing the customer that his part exchange car had been sold. Sold in fact only two days after the deal had been done he informed the customer. After me making two calls, one to a Yes Car Credit contact to check on the computer, the car was still at reserved status, not sold. A second call to a contact at the auction house, again not sold. Will Yes ever learn there lessons. Customers are no longer stupid. They are very wise about the practises of Yes Car Credit with the guidence from this forum. As it states in another post it's too late for Yes to change, they have the wrong people in the wrong positions. |

well i faxed 3 copys last night to all that needed to no what p greenwood did with my car my own car 1 to c macdonald 1 to g macleod and 1 to p greenwood the letter follows For The Attention Of Peter Greenwood , Gregory Macleod ,Charlie MacDonald copies sent to all After seeking advice i will only accept my car back in the condition it came to you in. .....car running in exellent condition no noises or problems central locking working fully by door and fob . all bumpers fitted as they was , cd player and ford tape player working . 3 quarter tank of fuel, Tax disc 2 months . in chrome holder chrome wipers front and rear. All seats in fantastic condition no rips or worn , bodywork in exellent condition .. all lights working UV lights on dash undamaged crystal neon light in car mesh grills on both bumpers ST signs on wings plus ghia signs V6 sign on boot plus mondeo sign,,, Rs 7 spoke alloys with new tyres which i had fitted, set of 5 undamaged Log book service history all reciepts car books (manuals) leather holder glove box dampner my car was handed over in a clean condition and working plus the £148.00 compansation faxed to cover the cost i lost,,, i will only recieve this car back after close inspection... As i have no car now with me i am ocurring cost for travel daily it is now the second day i have had no car i wait for your reply |

after waiting and waiting i telephoned charlie macdonald back to only recieve an abrupt manner my car has been damaged and no oppology i am now to recieve my car back at 2pm today in the condition of ill repair and a cash settlement of enough to repair my car YCC are the worst and now i am taking it up with trading standards |

Make sure before you take the car back, you write down all the faults with it, even take pictures and get them to sign a piece of paper acknowledging the damage that has been caused whilst they had the car. |

I have contacted the blackpool evening gazette spoke to consumer desk lady called ![]() i gave her the story i have to call back when the car comes back if the car is damaged like they said they are sending a reporter round to take pictures and i am going on record i will write all damage down and make sure all pictures are taken even how clean the car is to what it was before |

my car has been returned smashed all front end damaged total value of damage to bodywork 980.00 i walked around the car with pen and paper and made the delevery boy from ycc preston sign it awaiting local paper now furious |

I wouldnt have accepted the car!!! I would have made them take it away, have the work done by a reputable garage and then returned with receipts for work done. If they objected then threaten with Trading standards and local/national press but thats a bit late now, whats happening now then? |

I have now been contacted by my solicitor and i have a claim that is strong against the ycc and they are acting on all the paperwork and messages i have handed over , i have had 6 national paper`s contact me ref this and i am not going to go away as ycc would like me to. This has left me in difficulty as i have a badley damaged shoulder and have to travel by foot now to my physiotherapy , which means walking in pain after a good session in physio i cant get my daughter to her nursery as my car is so badly damaged, my wife has to travel a distance to work walking in the dark at stupid oclock in the morning how safe does ycc like to leave people , what a reputable company that cares,, All they had to do was give me my car in its condition they got it so if they treat people`s cars like this , it shows what they dont do for there own cars like repair them so what do you expect eh this is going to cost them and they will have to accept they are in the wrong as a court of law will prove there mistake , i have the backing from oft and the dept of transport and the local media and the people of the uk so i say to ycc you had your chance to be right and took the wrong path as normal nono |

Today took the cake My solicitor called me after talking to mr macdonald , he has stated that i threatened the delevery boy of my car and he was held at my home under duress stateing i said he was being filmed and made him by force sign a fault sheet on my car this however wasnt the truth the boy delivered my car along side another employee of ycc and was asked to follow me around the car while i made a report of what wasnt right with my car after there care. he then said if he got his car back like this he wouldnt be happy either he shook my hand signed the paper printed his name and signed then the 2 drove away how far will ycc go , this has nothing to do with my car and ycc but a claim of words between people, how of the track do they go the point is ycc aloowed damage or indeed neglected my car and have to put it right . my Mot station who looked and did my car on the 1st and the 8th of this month are writing a statement to prove my car was not in this condition at all and what this car needed was 2 lambda sensors . and that the body work was in very good condition and looked after plus 3 people writing a statement to prove that ycc and the delivery boy was not true and a photo evidence showing me writing the fault sheet using both my hands 1 on the car one writing .... plus i have a full breakdown from the garage of the faults of there car they tried to sell me .. it continues |

Max. You have done everything correct here, had a report done on the faulty car that Yes had supplied you with. Asked the delivery boy to sign a sheet of paper to acknowledge the damage that had been done to your part exchange car when it was returned. You have photos of the car before Yes took it and you have photos of the car when it was given back to you. Yes Car Credit supplied you with a faulty car, then when you decided to cancel the contract you were lied to by management when you asked the whereabouts of your part exchange, being told it was sold two days after the deal had been done. The correct procedures that you have followed is what Yes Car Credit don't like. I am sure in the hand of your solicitor and the press it will bring a positive outcome for you. ;) |
