Where to start? This is the kind of company that thrives on the fact that it is dealing with people with bad credit ratings, and therefore thinks that you can be treated like poo. They tell you to come into they're local store, which for us was walsall. Once you get through the locked door, they try to get a feel for your maximum weekly budget, before they even tell you how much finance you've been accepted for. They decide on what they reckon your maximum budget is, and you go from there. Despite the fact that their estimate of our budget was more than twice what we could afford. We were eventually shown 3 cars that were suppossed to have been in our price range. We were not encouraged to look at any other cars above or below our budget. When we asked for some time to discuss things between ourselves, we were left for a maximum off 2 minutes. Information about the individual cars was limited. We were pressured into making a decicion there and then, and we were told by our delightful loan shark, that we had to make the decision before we left the building, if we refused, our details would then be blacklisted, and we would not be able to consider the company again, for credit, for another 6 months. Feeling extremely pressured, and not at all happy with the service, not to mention the range of cars on offer. We decided to ask some questions about the finance. That was the final straw to be honest. Our loan shark basically said that he would not discuss anything like that, until we confirmed that we would sign papers tonight. The long and the short of it being, that we were expected to commit to something that we knew very little about. Having been in financial difficulty before, we were very cautious. We left the building having not signed anything! Which we were told would mean that we could not be considered for finance again for 6 months. Funnily enough, the following day, I get a phone call, saying that they'd managed to keep our file open, and would we like come back to the "garage". I declined. Another couple of days passed, and I got a call from the manager of the garage. By this time, we had bought a car elsewhere. He basically started quizzing me about the make, model, colour and the name of the company where we bought the car from. I refused to give him this information, telling him that it was my business, and I had no need to tell him anything. His attitude was very bad. He basically started to get very shirty, as I was persistant in my answers of "thats my buisness, I have no need to tell you", he eventualy hung up. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Even if you are desperate, there are plenty of other companies that you can go to, whos customer service, and choice of cars will be much much better. |
