I unfortunetly brought a car through yes finance was told I had to take out the insurances by the sales person, it was not explained that if I took the option to hand my car back after two years that I would still owe over one thousand pounds. I have now heard from Go debt for payment. I don't understand why I should pay insurance on a car I no longer own. If you can advise me on what I should do I would be most grateful to you. Many Thanks |

Hello Jacqui, welcome to saynotoyes smile Before I make my point, I would like everyone who is reading this post to digest this And have a look at this And the final one here To remind everyone about the company that we are dealing with, a company that deceived and lied to customers every day it traded. Then we have the likes of Godebt who are happy to purchase written off debt from Yes Car Credit and attempt to take people to court and bankrupt them. Quite simply shocking! Jacqui, I recommend you contact the Citizens Advice regarding these insurance's as they have several legal arguments which may prove positive, ask to talk with the in house debt adviser who has access to the special unit within the CAB who are dealing with both Godebt and Yes Car Credit cases. A related topic here Make no agreement with Godebt until you have contacted the CAB. You clearly have been mislead by Yes Car Credit as have most of their customers, why should GoDebt profit from this? quite clearly they should not! Please keep us informed and the best of luck |
