www.saynotoyes.co.uk Posts: 2,649 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: May 13, 2005	The website over the past 10 months has received hundred's of emails from Yes Car Credit customers telling us that they were told by sales staff that insurance's such as Payment Protection - Gap - and Warranty were not an option at the time of sale. In fact most customers were told that in order to secure the finance on the day, these must be taken out. The number of posts to this forum about the same subject tells a similar story. What can I do about this? The first step you need to make is to contact your local Citizens Advice and log a complaint. Ask to talk to the in-house debt adviser This person will in turn make contact with the Special Advice Unit within the CAB who are at present assisting customers who have Direct Auto Finance contracts. I would ask that all members and guests of the forum, old and new, who have not yet contacted CAB regarding insurance's to do so ASAP. - If you need to contact us here at the site: feedback@saynotoyes.co.uk

Ask to talk to the in-house debt adviser who will in turn make contact with the special advice unit within the CAB to further your complaint. If in the unlikely event anyone is advised by your local CAB that they are unable to assist please email one of the saynotoyes team and we will try to assist.
