Hi their

How do I ask a question on this forum. It seems that all I get is error pages.

What I would really like to know?.

Has anyone actually entered into an agreement with Hollis Briggs / Go-Debt after being threatened with bankruptcy, and if so has it been Hassel free or do they keep ringing every week to pester them for payments.
I have spoken to them and they seem to be more interested in getting a substantial lump sum and then go on to make monthly payments? Could this mean that once they have received a lump sum they would then probably sell on the debt again just like Yes Car Credit did.

Any help on this matter would be gratefully appreciated.

Graham,

Before anyone makes deals with these guys I would advise them to seek legal advice. This forum promotes a visit to the Citizens Advice who are well rehearsed in dealing against YCC/Godebt/Hollis Briggs/Geldards. You can get their contact details from our banner above.

As mention all over this forum when visiting the CAB ask to speak to their In-House Debt advisor regarding YCC. In turn they will speak to their specialist advisor who then will inform you if you have a case against this bankruptcy threat. You never know what you might find out.

DO NOT ENTER INTO ANY AGREEMENT UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN TO THE CAB.

Good luck and keep us informed.

I have read your post.

Not sure how we could "sell your debt on" once we receive a full and final settlement with you - the debt would no longer exist.

Happy to help if I can.

I believe that from his post he is referring to an initial large lum sum paid to Hollis Briggs/Go-Debt with the remainder then paid in smaller installments.

He is concerned that once the large lump sum is paid, Hollis Briggs/Go-Debt will sell the remainder of the debt on to another company who will then ask for another lump sum.

Thanks - I understand now.

That wouldn't happen.
