Have a look at www.bpripoff.co.uk Shows how BP rip us off for fuel without us really knowing. Also is an email for stickers which can be used to stick surreptitiously onto the pumps to warn other people. Not that I condone this in any way. :wacko: Buzz. |

I like it, not the tactics BP are using, but the campaign of that web site. So many truths on there that we have come across. Trading Standards more interested in the small businesses not the big boys. The government allowing these big boys to break the law. Why? Because they most likely employ alot of people keeping the unemployment figures down. Looks good for the government of the day does it not. Provident/YCC qualified as a big company, over 1500 people employed by YCC at one time. Once their operations were exposed it took just under a year to kill them as a car sales distributor. Hopefully in the next few months we will see them finally ended once all those dangerous cars are off the road. With a bit of luck it will cost them dearly once all that PPI clawback starts. The thing is its taken a site like this to do the business and stop YCC in its tracks. It should have been stopped in the beginning by the authorities who have the power, i.e. the governemt. What did they do?  Then again can you blame them for doing that , I mean that would have put 800 people out of a job. Not good for the figures is it? Just realised, this topic is for anything not to do with YCC. Oops sorry guys. Got on my bandwagon again. Better finish,

 I have to agree with you mate. Petrol companies are a rip off. Although Im sure I read it somewhere that only a small percentage, something less than 10% of the profit made comes from the UK market. They try to tell us they make more money from selling Mars Bars and cans of coke from the petrol stations than they do on the fuel [note, ycc not mentioned]

thums Thats it, I wont be going to use any more BP stations. Hey it took us 9 months to close down YCC, how long do you think it will be before we see the end of the BP petrol station. aaa Watch this space, bet now next time Im on the motorway and running low on fuel the next service station will be BP.
