I pity anyone whos ever had any dealings with this company I bought my Rover in 2002. Now I am going through a difficult time, I saw on the agreement that I have a right to cancel providing I have paid over a certain ammount. I worked out I had paid well over the required ammount, so called them to cancel the agreement. But to my astonishment he said that I was under a thousand pounds short of cancelling due to the fact that so much is paid on insurance. I had technicly paid well over the required ammount, but they have split this up into different costs. What exactly does all this insurance cover?? It obviously does not cover you for short falls in payments. So it seems like a useless insurance to me!! He was very abrupt and very unkind and not understanding at all. Merely went on to say that If I did not continue to pay for this car It would be repossesed and I would still have costs to pay. I heard that Yes car credit had gone bankrupt, but they seem alive and well to me and are a heartless ruthless company that should be looked in to by the Government because I think what they are doing to people is absolutely disgusting. we are all in a similar boat CB and I have stated on a few occasions that this should be dealt with by a higher authority, not disgruntled customers who actually give a toss and put up a fight unfortunately everything is still up in the air with YCC for a lot of people, I am actually awaiting a loan for doing up my house and have aportioned some just to pay these buggers off if needs be as i cba with em ringing me, letters etc etc visit your local CAB and read all the posts in the main YCC forum on here and you will have a better idea as to what to say when you goto the CAB good luck and chin up smile |
