Well what can I say but agree with all of you I am wanting to redeem my mortgage and they have already had 8.9% over the last year without a default they now want to charge me £9000 for the pleasure of paying them back their money. I am still trying to fight it. As a sub prime lender they clearly take advantage of those who can not get a mainstream mortgage, at a huge interest then take advantage again by asking for a huge redemption fee. This is so disproportiante it is outrageous for producing a piece of paper. NEVER USE KENSINGTON treacle2011 |

depends what mortgage you got, if it was a fixed rate for say 3 years then they will have a clause in their if you clear it before the 3 years are up, most lenders do that mine is 3 years and 7000 if i move/settle early altho not with kensington and only 6% |
