Hi all, I got my car from welcome car finance after screwing my credit rating when i was 18, I am now 21 with a daughter and needed the car as my old car broke down, and the £1000 trade in seemed to good to be true for it. so i went to there branch and got a new car and gave them my old car, great i thought until i looked over the numbers £17000 for a £3000 car....!! So i try and cancel the PPI which was £5000 within the month - this took over 100 phone calls and me visiting the branch over a 6 month period! All the staff knew me by voice alone and i knew them by there voice aswell...bit to personel for all the wrong reasons. I really don't want the car anymore - It was faulty when i got it and its just to expensive for my needs. I rang them today to say they can have it back as they have still not cancelled the PPI - Guess what....Its now cancelled and i can go into see them to sign the paperwork Should i do this and then cancel the car or cancel now as they have breached the contract by not cancelling the ppi? I want out of the contract and car and don't care about the money i have paid then or my credit rating - i don't own my home and don't plan to for some years yet. any advice? |
