All Before I contact CAB regarding the great (S e) insurances I took out, how do I prove I was forced to take them, as all this was done behind closed doors on their premises?Surely we will need proof before we can make a claim? Lee |

Missed this one. You cannot prove you were forced unless you had a hidden camera just like those chaps on Rogue Traders. What we need to do here is take out a Group Action against DAF. We are looking into this but there are a few high obstacles we need to get over. Unfortunately this is not going to happen overnight but when it does and if we win well........... Cannot say much at the moment you just dont know who is watching. :ph43r: What you need to prove is mis-sold/misrepresentation. Where you self employed and took out PPI, were you employed and your employer already had some sort of insurance if you were sick, did you already have redundancy insurance etc. |

Hi Lee, I am also going to CAB in the morning. I dont think that there is any doubt that we would not have been given the finance without taking out the insurances. DAF have been very clever and very mis-leading in the design of thier credit agreement, It quite clearly states under Termination Your Rights That subject to the payments having been made and subject to the goods having been looked after, ther are no more monies to be paid. Surely, if you are required to continuing paying for the insurances this should have been clearly stated under the same paragraph. I am confident that they willbe taken to task in court. At the moment they have asked me to pay Three different sums ranging from over Nine hundred pounds down to Two hundred and forty. I am refusing to pay a penny and will go to prison on principle. They are a set of bloody thieves! Cheers mate Phil |
