hi im new but heres my story (please dont cry) i got a car from ycc and was told that i had to have the many insurances as i would not be able to get the finances without them. my wife is very ill and i desperatly needed a car to get her to the hospital so i took them out. bad mistake. i have heard that they arnt allowed to force them upon you and what ive read here sort of aggrees with that. im prepaired to try to force them to back down by pushing my case through the small claims court it will be under 5000 so ive not got anything to loose. can any one supply me with some ammo to throw at them to justy my case? thanks buck |

Buck Rogers, welcome to our forum. This is perhaps the hottest topic we have against YCC. We all claim that we were told to take the insurances else no car etc. The YCC big bods such as Steve Plowman claim this never happened. How do they know they were not there. They know it went on, we definately know but how do we prove it. Perhaps we can, soon, who knows. wink Unfortunately at present we are having to go down the missold avenue. There are a number of reasons you can use to say you have been missold. The one carrying the biggest ammo would be if you were self employed at the time. The PPI would then be invalid so you would have a good case. Personally I would seek legal advice on this either via your local CAB or Stephensons solicitors. See our banner for details. Good luk with your claim and please keep us informed. |

yes i would speak to stephensons because you may be entitled to legal aid and then they can take on your case if they think you have one. can i suggest emailing them with your whole story regarding YES and then they can say if they can help. I would suggest seeking advice before you decide whether or not too take them through the small claims court as if you lost you would end up being left with all their costs as well and it will not come cheap |
